Markus Mayr, FIS Snow controller and Race Director for World Cup Women in  Technical Events, inspected the snow conditions on the Maribor racecourse for 58. Golden Fox and announced: ”Unfortunately, the entire situation shows that on 8. and 9. January it is not possible to have the world cup competition here. There is not enough snow, in some places, there are only a few centimeters and the weather forecast is very bad.”

After this decision, the organizers are checking the possibility of having the races in Kranjska Gora.
