It is painful to look into the sky if you see just the rain coming down. This is going on at the foot of Pohorje mountain already for two weeks.

Though, the Race Director Gorazd Bedrač is not desperate: "We are expecting the cold! After Thursday the weather shall settle and a cold front is supposed to pass. We think,, next week we can start  with the snowmaking. With the present air humidity the necessary temperature is 4 °C below zero, but with the cold front we shall have certainly lower humidity."

How much more time do we have left?

Gorazd Bedrač: "The FIS Snow control is due just after the New Year holidays. This means, we still have ample time. The snow making machinery is set up, there is enough water available and everything else will be ready on time.”
