On the Podkoren slope in Kranjska Gora the best female Alpine skiers fought in the first run of the Golden Fox SL race. The Slovak coach Zuzula set a very demanding technical course, gates set very tightly, which was best managed by the Austrian Michaela Kirchgasser ahead of Veronika Zuzulova and Tania Poutiainen. More thousands of spectators were satisfied with the Slovenian Tina Maze's performance, who is fourth. Other domestic racers didn't qualify for the second run. Something similar happened also to the Austrian favourite, who has dominated in slalom in this season. She missed the gate and was out.
