The finish arena of Maribor snow stadium is still green; however, the chief of the race for the 45th Golden Fox Trophy, Gorazd Bedrač, is optimistic:

''The weather forecast is good, cold is coming in the next days, the temperatures will be around minus 5 degrees, so I believe that will manage to snow the race slope until the end of year. Also the long term weather forecast is satisfactory. In heights there will be minus 15 degrees, in the valey around 0.''

Secretary General of the organizing committee, Srečko Vilar: ''The weather forecast makes us optimistic. At the moment, we aren't thinking about anything else but the fact that the race will take place in Maribor. More will be known on Saturday, when we also need to decide. Until then we'll proceed according to our normal programme, all services operate at full power.''

Chief of the technical committee, Drago Rataj: ''Everything is ready to start the snow making. Everything about other infrastructure will be decided on Saturday. I count on that we'll start setting the stands and the tent.''
