53. Golden Fox was completed last weekend. Best Slovenian skier of all times, Tina Maze, took this opportunity as her farewell competition. Televizija Slovenija was producing international TV-signal for both events, giant slalom and slalom. The event itself was a complete success not only in terms of organization and competition, but also in reaching extremely high viewership among TV viewers.

Moreover, at least one minute of 53. Golden Fox live TV broadcast on Televizija Slovenija 2 on Saturday 7. January 2017 and Sunday 8. January 2017, was viewed by 817.200 different viewers with age 4 or older.

 

On Saturday 7. January 2017, first giant slalom run for 53. Golden Fox was in average viewed by 17,6 % or 332.2000 viewers, which presents 70 % of total TV views at that time. Second giant slalom run was in average viewed by 16,2 % or 305.600 viewers which represent 60% of total TV viewers at that time.

 

53. Golden Fox reached peak viewership on Saturday 7. January at 10:15 when 414.700 people or 22% viewers watched Tina Maze’s farewell run.

On Sunday 8. January, first slalom run for 53. Golden Fox was in average viewed by 14,1% or 266.300 viewers, which represent 61% of all TV viewers. Second slalom run was in average watched by 16,5% or 311.400 viewers, which represent 54 % of all TV viewers at that time.

 

Show “Hvala, Tina!” was viewed by 13% or 244.800 viewers on TV Slovenija on Saturday 7. January, which represent 29 % of all TV viewers at that time.
