The slalom fox will from today on decorate the glass case of the best slalomist of the season, the German Maria Riesch. She again proved other competitors , that she's an unbeatable slalom queen of the season. Second was already after the first run placed second, the Austrian Kathrin Zettel and as third managed to place herself the Finn, Tanja Poutiainen.

Our Slovenian best today was Maruša Ferk, who managed to place herself on to the 21st rank, who was 25th after the first run. In extremely cold weather in the ski arena more thousands of spectators insisted and cheered for the best alpine skiers in the world. Also the Slovenian President, dr. Danilo Türk, visited the event and praised the organizers and the spectators to be here in such a crowd as well.
