Awesome atmosphere at the snow stadium in Maribor with sun and on a firm and well prepared and demanding race course – the Austrian Ana-Maria Brem leads – “I finally made it, I skied well!”- Immediately after her there is the winner of the former GS the German Viktoria Rebesnburg – “It wasn’t easy with the number 1, I made too many mistakes on the track.”

The Slovenian skiers were cheered by Tina Maze and about 7.000 spectators in the finish arena of the snow stadium. Ana Drev performed well, didn’t manage to place herself right to the top, however, as the sixth she has good chances to get onto the podium in the end. “I’m satisfied, now I can fully strike the second course. Big thanks to all the fans!” The second run starts at 13.00 and more spectators are about to arrive to the venue.

Among the thirty skiers performing in the second run, another Slovenian managed to place herself. Katarina Lavtar was 23rd.
