»My first run was not the best and I cannot yet figure out how or where it went wrong. Luckily, there was quite some time left until second run, so I could improve my strategy to perform better. Second run was something completely different. Conditions were hard and warm weather affected the course a bit. You could notice smaller holes and surface was not as hard anymore. I also got some help from my unbelievable, awesome and supportive fans! They are with me all along. This motivates me, it makes me push myself harder. «

 

 

WENDY HOLDENER

» This was a real battle. I made an error during first run, so this is how I lost the combination victory. I saw how Anna skied, she was great and she could win, but she made an error just before the finish. My feelings about second place are mixed. I am proud I performed well both days and I would like to thank the organizers for an excellent race. I am also excited to race in Maribor next year, as it is Golden Fox's hometown.

»Kranjska Gora is my local ski slope. I live only 20min away from here, so most of my friends and family came to see me compete today. Just having them here made my third place and the experience better. It felt great to take the lead, but I was unsure if I will make it to the podium. Congratulations to the organizers for such a great organization. Slovak fans were great too, for a moment I thought the race is in Slovakia. «
