Today and tomorrow they will just put up the necessary security fences and barriers.Gorazd Bedrač, head of the 48th Golden Fox competition: "The whole route – the women’s giant slalom starting position will be there as it was five years ago, a little lower than the men’s  - has already been prepared with an injection board (?) filled with water. Thus, the trail is practically ready. "Due to economic reasons and the great support of the people of Kranjska gora, the organizers have decided that the 48th Golden Fox will not require as massive a relocation by the organizers as happened five years ago.  Andrew Rečnik, who is the leader of the trails, and his team will have 30 employees, and in the total Maribor team there will be more than a hundred people "roaming" Gorenjsko at the end of the week (five years ago there were 238 of them).Srecko Vilar, the general secretary of the Golden Fox OC: "The entire Vitranc Cup team has been involved in the technical preparation of the trail in Podkoren. The cooperation is excellent, we are already grateful to the people of Kranjska Gora. They gave us all possible assistance, including all the necessary documentation so that, in spite of moving the whole organization, everything is going well. This weekend in Kranjska Gora a great competition, the Golden Fox, takes place! "People from Maribor had already succeeded earlier in such a huge organizational feat while relocating the event, as Manja Koklič, who is responsible for accommodation (in Kranjska Gora she appeared in the Golden Fox at the time of its first move to Gorenjska in 1976), has succeeded in lodging all the teams in Kranjska Gora. Five years ago, while they were making the last relocation moves, the women skiers were situated in Bled, because Kranjska Gora was full immediately after the New Year.The honorable patron of the 48th Golden Fox is the president, Dr. Danilo Türk, who will be watching Sunday’s slalom in Podkoren.
