Slowly, yet on time for the Golden Fox Slovenian skiers are improving their form. Unfortunately Ana Drev cannot perform due to an injury, so all hopes are on Ilka Štuhec. Considering downhill training for world cup race in Äre strats on Monday immediately after Golden Fox race, FIS is struggling to arrange transportation of skiers from Maribor to Sweden.
“Organization wise everything is going on smoothly and Marprom reassured us the racecourse will be ready on time” outlined General secretary Srečko Vilar at weekly meeting of Organization Committee.
Chief of race Mitja Dragšič is waiting for snowmaking to finish while Srečko Vilar is finalizing sponsorship deals. This Thursday he will sign the contract with Zavarovalnica Sava, the general sponsor of the event and sponsor of giant slalom event, NOVA KBM.
Tickets for 55. Golden Fox are already available. Find yours at any Eventim sale point, directly at venue or order them online. Daily entrance for adults costs 10 €, youth (age 8-18) 5 € and children have free access.
Entrance to Zone 10 will provide best seats for enjoying the race from tribunes and costs 100 €/person. Access to VIP area is available for 150€/person besides special offers for sponsors and other partners in VIP Partner tent.
City bus nr. 6 will be running free of charge on Friday 1st and Saturday February 2nd. Special parking lot for cars will be set up at Kadetnica Rudolfa Maitra and a free bus will take you directly from parking lot to the venue. Parking lots under Pohorska vzpenjača will be reserved for accredited guests only, while other guests are welcome to use parking lot at shooting range close by.
