Today's GS battle was tough with Tina Maze out. And exactly the best skier in the world has the most reasons, to make the tomorrow's race even more exciting. She'll race with a bib #4, and beforehand both this season better competitors will show her the way down the course, the Swede Frida Hansdotter, who claimed her first victory at the last year's Golden Fox in Kranjska Gora, and the American Mikaela Schiffrin, a reigning slalom world champion.

   

In her strive for the World cup overall in today's GS, Maze lost what Fenninger gained. Tomorrow the Austrian won't be racing, so Tina needs to place herself as high as possible in order to lift herself in the overall standings. But also due to her unfinished business from the world championships, when she above all wanted to a victory in slalom, which is the only medal she lacks in her collection, she will strike a victory with the bib #4 at the Golden Fox and might repeat her success from two years ago. Then 20.000 spectators gathered at Mariborsko Pohorje ski resort to cheer the best female racers in the world. Tomorrow at least as many could come to support the competitors again despite the weather forecast, which unfortunately does not promise as much sun as there was at today’s GS race.
