The Maribor Tourist Board diversified the evening before the race with a special promotion of Styrian culinary specialties. In the Press Center there was a chance to taste cooked prosciutto in dough together with white radish and horseradish with pumpkin oil in a creamy sauce.
The wine cellar Dveri-pax took care of the appropriate wine accompaniment with a choice of internationally awarded wines. Both felt good for domestic and foreign stomachs – ''Pumpkin oil gives a unique and interesting aroma to the whole thing,'' described the feast one of the German journalists. Also Slovenian journalists have been emphasizing from the morning on that it was worth waiting for such a delicacy.
Tomorrow there will be a chance of tasting the Maribor culinary and wine offer again between 18.00 and 20.00 in the lobby of the Press Center.
