It has snowed for three days, but in between there was some rain as well and lots of wet snow. What does that mean for the race course, six days before the 46th Golden Fox?
Gorazd Bedrač, Chief of the Race: "There wasn't any real cold to snow the course, but also wet snow is welcome. It's actually ideal, because the structure of the snow is excellent, now. We received lots of water, which should otherwise be injected into the snow surface, but this way we got smaller snow grains that will be easier to prepare. It has become clear now, that we will harden the course by using a beam and till then we will also spread the snow where necessary. There’s absolutely enough snow, but we also count on some additional man-made snow, especially along the Čopka trail, so the tourists can ski down to the valley along the parallel slope.
